Construction process of kiln refractory

1、 Construction process of refractory brick masonry:

  1. Construction process of rotary / mobile kiln:

(1) The masonry of movable kiln shall be carried out after the acceptance of no-load operation of single kiln.

(2) The basic process of masonry is:

Select the starting point of construction and build the masonry section from the hot end to the cold end or from the low end to the high end → draw the auxiliary line at the construction point → select the refractory brick configuration (select the refractory brick of different materials according to the service temperature and the service position of the refractory brick masonry) → if there is an anchor nail or brick support plate, weld and fix the anchor nail and brick support plate together → if there is a thermal insulation layer (such as light thermal insulation brick, etc.), The thermal insulation layer shall be laid first and then the refractory brick masonry → if the wet masonry method is adopted, the refractory mud shall be prepared before masonry, and the material of the refractory mud shall be consistent with the refractory brick → masonry in sections → brick repair and brick locking in sections → fill and compact the expansion joint reserved during masonry.

For example: when using the top bar to fix the refractory brick masonry, the segmented ring masonry shall be carried out from the hot end to the cold end. The length of each section shall not exceed 1m for wet masonry and 2m for dry masonry. The masonry process is to extend from the bottom to both sides and then to the semicircle → compact the laid refractory bricks with the top bar → rotate the kiln to 90 degrees → masonry according to the above process → then compact and rotate with the top bar → continue masonry → lock bricks → the masonry of this section is completed.

  1. Construction process of static kiln:

The construction and masonry process of static kiln is basically the same as that of dynamic kiln, but there are the following differences:

(1) No load test run is not required.

(2) Masonry construction is generally carried out from bottom to top.

(3) The kiln is stationary. The masonry of each section of masonry shall be completed from the ring direction, and the expansion joint shall be filled and compacted in each ring.

(4) The arch masonry shall be built from both sides to the middle, and the arch tire mold shall be used for fixing during masonry. After the brick lock is completed, remove the arch tire.

2、 Construction process of refractory castable masonry:

Inspection and acceptance of refractory castable → cleaning of construction surface → welding of anchor nails → fabrication and installation of formwork → application of waterproof agent → mixing of refractory castable and making samples → vibration and pouring of castable → removal of formwork → reservation of expansion joints and filling and compaction → maintenance.

3、 Completion and delivery of kiln masonry:

The materials to be provided by the construction unit during delivery and acceptance include:

  1. Submit the completion acceptance certificate.
  2. Commencement and completion report.
  3. Construction process handover certificate.
  4. Measurement data of main parts of furnace body.
  5. Quality and performance of refractory materials. Such as refractory performance report, laboratory re inspection report, configuration and acceptance report of amorphous refractory materials such as refractory castable and refractory mud, etc.
  6. Acceptance report of concealed works.
  7. Quality inspection and evaluation data, quality assurance verification data, unit project quality and comprehensive evaluation data of divisional and subdivisional works.
  8. Project quality problem handling data.
  9. List of technical contacts (including rationalization suggestions).
  10. Construction period record.
  11. Design change data (including drawing joint review data).
  12. As built drawings.
