Construction steps of refractory brick lining of cement kiln

The refractory brick lining of cement kiln is built by arch tire method, and the bricklaying machine can be used and the ring masonry method can be used.

  1. Construction steps of refractory brick lining of cement kiln:

(1) Preparation before construction: build the bridge, clean the construction site, and pull the masonry auxiliary line.

(2) Construction process:

1) First build the lower half ring refractory brick lining;

2) After the masonry of the lower half circle is completed, the arch formwork platform shall be erected stably and firmly;

3) Place the refractory brick on the clamping device of the platform and press it tightly on the kiln body by the hydraulic cylinder;

4) Start masonry and carry out the upper half ring refractory brick lining;

5) Lock brick and lock mouth;

6) Pouring construction of castable lining at kiln mouth and kiln tail;

7) Wedge the steel plate into the brick joint to fasten it, and confirm the inspection.

  1. Detailed construction steps:

(1) Pull masonry auxiliary line:

First pull out a longitudinal masonry datum line at the arch bottom, and then pull out several masonry auxiliary lines parallel to the longitudinal datum line every 1.5m along the circumferential direction. A circular datum line shall be set every 10 Mira and a construction control line shall be set every 1 Mira. The circular lines shall be parallel to each other and perpendicular to the axis of the cement kiln.

(2) Basic requirements for refractory brick construction:

The refractory brick lining shall be close to the shell, the refractory brick joint shall be tight and straight, the intersection circle shall be accurate, the brick shall be locked firmly, and there shall be no dislocation, sagging and void. During the masonry process, the operation concentricity of the brick lining and the kiln barrel shall be checked frequently and adjusted in time.

(3) Quality requirements for refractory brick masonry:

The top of the refractory brick lining shall be fully bonded with the cylinder surface without gap. The large surfaces of adjacent single bricks shall be fully contacted. The length of the processed brick shall not be less than 50% of the original brick and the thickness shall not be less than 80% of the original brick.

(4) Requirements for expansion joint of refractory brick:

When the ring masonry method is used for masonry, the allowable deviation of the length of the ring joint per meter shall not be greater than 2mm, but the allowable deviation of the length of the single ring shall not be greater than 8mm.

(5) Requirements for wedge joint steel plate of refractory brick:

The thickness of steel plate is usually 1 ~ 3mm, and the surface is required to be smooth without curling, distortion, burr and other phenomena; The width of refractory brick shall be about 10mm smaller than that of refractory steel plate; The edge of the steel plate shall not exceed the refractory brick, and there shall be no hollowing and bridging; Only one steel plate can be wedged into each brick joint, and the steel plate shall not be wedged into the brick joint of brick lock.

(6) Lock brick requirements:

Each ring shall be laid to the position of the last 5 ~ 6 bricks, and the combined main bricks and processed bricks shall be pre placed to meet the laying requirements. The adjacent ring joint bricks shall be staggered by 1 ~ 2 bricks, and the end brick ring shall be locked by 1 ~ 2 rings in advance.

(7) Precautions for refractory brick lining construction of cement kiln:

During construction, hard objects (such as hammer) shall not be used to directly knock the brick body, and the refractory brick masonry shall not be used as the cutting board for processing, chiseling and other operations.

Refractory bricks shall not have the following phenomena: inverted big and small heads, drawing lots, mixing mortar, dislocation, inclination, uneven mortar joints, climbing, centering, re joint, opening, void, hairy joint, serpentine bend, brick bulging, lack of edges and corners, etc.

(8) Check:

After the refractory brick lining of cement kiln is completed, the construction area shall be cleaned before delivery, and the construction quality shall be checked ring by ring and fastened again. After fastening, it is not suitable to rotate the kiln body.
