Magnesia carbon brick is composed of magnesium oxide and carbon, both of which have high melting point, and the two components do not solid melt, so MG-carbon brick has high melting resistance.
Magnesia carbon brick is a kind of composite structure, the main part of which is made of magnesia clinker which has strong slag corrosion resistance to alkaline slag and carbon which has poor wettability with molten slag, so it has excellent slag corrosion resistance. Especially its resistance to slag penetration ability is strong, compared with the old fired alkaline brick, magnesia-carbon brick penetration layer is much shallower.
