Brief description of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon bricks are made of high melting point alkaline magnesium oxide (melting point 2800 ℃) and high melting point carbon materials that are not easy to be soaked by molten slag, with various non oxide additives added. Combined with carbon binder, non combustible carbon composite refractory is made.

Advantages of magnesia carbon brick

As a composite refractory, magnesia carbon brick effectively utilizes the strong slag corrosion resistance of magnesium and the high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon, making up the biggest disadvantage of the poor peeling resistance of magnesium.
Magnesia carbon bricks have good high temperature resistance, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance and low creep at high temperature.
