High Alumina Refractory Bricks SK-37

Product introduction of refractory bricks SK-37:

High alumina brick SK-37 is a kind of refractory material. The main component of this kind of refractory brick is Al2O3, which is aluminum silicate base refractory with alumina content greater than 65%.

Features of refractory bricks SK-37:

  • Fire resistance
The fire resistance of high-alumina brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silica brick, reaching 1750~1790 ℃, which is a high-grade refractory material.
  • Load softening temperature
Because of the high content of Al2O3 in high-alumina products, less impurities and less fusible glass, the load softening temperature is higher than that of clay bricks, but the load softening temperature is not higher than that of silica bricks because the mullite crystal does not form a network structure.
  • Slag resistance
The high alumina brick contains more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractory, and can resist the erosion of acid slag and alkaline slag. Because it contains SiO2, the ability of resisting alkaline slag is weaker than that of resisting acid slag.

Application of refractory bricks SK-37:

The characteristics of high alumina brick are mainly reflected in high temperature resistance, chemical internal corrosion resistance, and good thermal shock resistance. High-quality performance can be widely used in various industries, such as cement, glass building materials, steel smelting and petrochemical industries.
