Brief introduction of white corundum brick
The raw material of high temperature kiln corundum brick is a kind of solid solution synthesized by alumina and chromium oxide according to a certain proportion through high temperature melting. High compressive strength at room temperature (up to 340MPa), high softening temperature under load (greater than 1700℃), strong chemical stability, hardness up to 9 Mohs grade, high melting point, acid or alkaline slag, metal and liquid glass have strong resistance.
Advantages of white corundum brick
- Good wear resistance
- High strength
- High temperature resistance
- Erosion resistance
- Good thermal shock
- Resistance to high temperature creep
Application of white corundum brick
White corundum brick is mainly used in ironmaking blast furnace and blast furnace hot blast furnace, outside steelmaking furnace refining furnace, sliding water device, glass furnace and petrochemical industry furnace.
More refractory material product: Ladle refractory castable
